Estar is used to talk about HOW something is, so we use it for conditions, locations, emotions, and actions temporary states. Es is the formal "you" therefore you would use it in this example if you did not know the person you are talking to or you wanted to show a degree of respect.
Eres is the informal "you" which you would use if talking with someone you knew well or perhaps a younger or junior person. In Spanish , there isn't a word for " do. You can reverse the order of the subject and verb in your question. This seems to be most common. Or you can keep the same order of the words and just add the question marks. To say "what are you like" in spanish is, "como eres tu? Una is 'a,' feminine. Unos means 'some' or 'a few, ' masculine. Unas means 'some' or 'a few, ' feminine.
Perro is a masculine, singular noun, so un matches perro. Cebra is a feminine, singular noun, so una matches cebra.
