Should i cure genophage

Edited by Nightwriter, 03 November - PM. By philiposophy - Wed Nov 03, pm. If the krogan are incapable of changing as Wrex wants them to, the cure will not be produced or released. Their population will go to high to fast and they WILL atack again the other races in the future either because of revenge or of desperation that is inevitable "When the world is overcharged with inhabitants then the last remedy is war" This will happen on a galactic scale.

And the reaper atack will happen in the near future in ME and thus their population will not recover that fast and btw very young children can't fight. They have the genophage because of their own stupidity "always fighting no matter who".

Edited by sinosleep, 03 November - PM. In the near future, anyway. Hundreds of years from now they may change, but as it stands now, I don't think I could in good conscience cure the genophage. By Guest - Wed Nov 03, pm. But before you can, you are interrupted and have to deal with some Reapers. After that some krogan will be on the verge of fighting each other before Eve interrupts and gives a rousing speech to inspire the krogan.

After this, the Krogan convoy heads to the Shroud. If you chose to try and reveal the shroud sabotage, then Eve will ask what you were trying to say. Here you can finally reveal the dalatrass deal uninterrupted. It is important to note that if you wish to sabotage the cure, you should not reveal this. Eventually, the convoy will stop at a collapsed bridge, which delays your arrival.

But it's too late for the turian fighter squad serving alongside you since the Reaper guarding the Shroud detects and attacks them.

One crashes into the convoy, forcing Eve's car to continue on without Shepard. Here, you can make your way through an underground tomb where you can pick up some credits if you examine some of the art. Here you will hear rumbles that come from Kalros, described by Eve as the mother of all thresher maws. Once you make your way outside to what looks like a temple, continue pressing forward where you will encounter Reaper forces as well as ravagers.

Aim for the ravager's sacks, which are their main weak points. Once you make your way out of this area and into a more open locale, you will see Kalros pursuing Eve's vehicle and another vehicle.

Keep pushing forward and deal with any enemies in the way to eventually reach a stairway where a cutscene in which Shepard's squad hurries over to Eve's truck plays out. Now you are at the Shroud facility, where you have to deal with the Reaper.

Eve will propose using ceremonial hammers to lure Kalros to the Reaper. Here, avoid the laser trying to incinerate you. Once you get close to the hammers, there are brutes in the way — you also have to avoid being crushed by the Reaper.

An area will be marked by a sudden shadow, avoid this by backing away if you are out of the way. If it shows up in your spot, run. Once the hammers are activated, enjoy a cutscene of Kalros taking down a Reaper. Once the Reaper is gone, Shepard heads inside the crumbling facility to find Mordin and talks to them. If Maelon's research was saved, then he will reveal that Eve survived and that she will be a good mediator should the clan leader get any ideas.

If it was destroyed, then Eve will die. Primarch Victus can no longer be found on the Normandy. Whether or not you actually cured the genophage, the krogan provide the the Urdnot Leader, Krogan Clans, and Clan Urdnot.

You will also earn Krogan Mercenaries if Wrex is leader. However, they may be diminished in strength if Eve died or Wreav is leader. Furthermore, if you did not cure the genophage, Wrex will eventually find out, and confront you during Priority: The Citadel III, leading to his death and a diminishing of the krogan's military strength. If Wreav is the Urdnot leader, he never discovers the deception.

If you cured the genophage, you will receive no salarian assets at this time , leaving the STG force you gained from Sur'Kesh as their race's only representatives at this time. Sabotaging the cure grants you their First Fleet and Mordin Solus if he was spared. If Shepard stops by, Diana Allers performs an interview which depending on the mission's outcome and morality choices can result in War Asset improvements e.

Given that the Salarian First Fleet's military strength is points while the total combined military strength of Clan Urdnot and Wrex is points, with another 75 from Krogan Mercenaries, a Renegade-minded player should be aware that not curing the genophage with Wrex as leader will actually weaken your force , whereas Wreav as leader will provide a total of between the two races. If you're concerned with maximizing your war assets, it depends on whether Wrex or Wreav is the Krogan leader.

The first time I was prompted to mention it, I did, but I was interrupted before actually saying anything. Both Wrex he is alive for me and Eve were very happy that I told them, and said they would know if it hadn't worked. Mordin said that they wouldn't know since everything would appear to be fine, but that he could fix it. In order for Mordin to fix it, he had to go to the top of the Shroud while it was exploding. He sacrificed his life in order to distribute the cure. I'm not exactly sure what happens if you do sabotage the cure and don't mention it.

This question possible spoilers in title mentions some outcomes of that. Well, first off, is it your intent to cure the genophage, or do you want to go along with the Salarians plan? If it's your intent to cure the Genophage, you can reveal it whenever you want. The earlier you do, the more Paragon points you can earn along the way.

If it's your intent to sabotage the cure, then the key is to not reveal the sabotage to Eve while riding in the truck after the first battle of the mission. You can start to try on the dropship if you want the paragon points, but so long as you don't tell Eve , you can continue to sabotage the cure. I got through this part and the way I did it was just not say a damn thing. Every body kept asking me what was wrong and I kept shrugging it off. Eventually Mordin detects a temperature change and at this point I told him about the sabotage and told him I was wrong Sign up to join this community.
